2 questions:
1. is there a way to stream to tiktok without a stream key? I have no way of getting one, i dont have tiktok live studio on mac as its windows only and google has been unhelpful as heck
2. when I click start streaming on OBS it ONLY goes live on one platform, i then have to manually click go live on the others on the aitu, dock, is there a way to connect it to all go live together??

This plugin does not have this capability just yet. You're better off using the Multiple RTMP Output plugin. A number of those here have asked for this capability.

There is currently a bug with Aitum multistream where my OBS freezes on a scene after 30min - 2hrs into a stream and kills the streams. This happened on OBS 32 and 31. Updating to OBS 32 helped it for a day but the next day my stream was back to needing to be rebooted about every 4 hours.
 
I cant for the life of me find a way to start the secondary streams in OBS via streamerbot/websockets - having to manually start each secondary stream feels a bit awkward, so I am sure I am missing something - where can I find the options to start secondary streams with the primary?

I see KattPhloxworth says there's no option for this in the plugin atm. This is interesting and upsetting.

Has anyone else had a problem with getting capture card to show video after downloading Aitum? I can only hear audio. I switched to another Scene Collection and the video from the capture card is working just fine. I've tried unplugging the capture card to setting up a new source and adding the capture card again.
 
When adding a custom output, the field "Streamkey" is mandatory. We cannot add an output without a streamkey.
But this should be possible, the SRT protocol does not require a streamkey.

Right now, we can put a "space" character in the streamkey, but this is not guarantee to work for every thing
 
For some reason multistream is crashing my obs, i uninstalled all of my other plugins and left only multistream and it won't even allow me to use obs. The app just flickers and then it says "Not Responding"

You don't need to uninstall your other plugins to troubleshoot. Use the Plugin Manager in newer releases of OBS Studio to disable them for troubleshooting purposes.

Also, please bear in mind that I am assuming Windows here. I have neither a current Linux desktop-equipped computer, nor do I have a Mac capable of running OBS Studio.

To do this, use this procedure:

  • Start up OBS Studio in "safe mode" (in Windows, assuming a normal install, press Windows-R for the "Run" dialog. Type "C:\Program Files\obs-studio\bin\64bit\obs64.exe --safe mode" and click "OK". OBS Studio should fire up in safe mode so OBS Studio only loads "first-party" (bundled with OBS Studio by the OBS Project) plugins.
  • Go to Tools, then select Plugin Manager.
  • (This is accurate as of 32.1.2, which is the most recent release this was written and is the one I use) Until the other options are fleshed out, only "Installed" is selected. If you live in the future where the other options on the left are fleshed out and if you are further still in the future, others might be there; select "Installed".
  • Uncheck all the other plugins you have so only the errant plugin is having trouble.
  • Restart OBS Studio
  • Bonus round: Extremely helpful function in the StreamUP plugin thanks to @Andilippi, if you have this plugin installed, you can even find out which versions (which report any versioning information) of which plugins you have installed. Important: Bear in mind that not all of them have this information and some; you will have to research these yourself! These two functions work extremely well in concert in doing troubleshooting!
If you run into issues, you can report whether doing this has successfully isolated your issue to a problematic plugin, in this example, Aitum Multistream.

You should never have to uninstall any plugins when the ability to disable any number plugins now exists. When OBS Studio crashes outright and OBS Studio knows about it, one of the first options you get when you start OBS Studio afterward is whether to start OBS Studio "in safe mode" which is with all your plugins disabled (not including the ones bundled with OBS Studio proper).

Version 1.08 does not work with a portable install of OBS 30.2.3. I downloaded "aitum-multistream-windows.zip" from github and extracted the files to the correct path, but nothing happened. No Aitum Multistream dock or any way to access the features. It's as if nothing was installed.

Only version 1.07 works for portable OBS, apparently.

Curious, why are you still using such an old release of OBS Studio? That was released nearly two years ago, August 15, 2024, and was the final release of the OBS 30.2.x release train with 30.2.0 being released on July 12, 2024, already more than two years ago.

Because the latest v30 is widely trusted as the most stable version. OBS v31 is riddled with issues and bugs, OBS v32 is too new and mostly untested at large, and neither add anything of interest. Updating OBS is a huge risk, zero benefit deal. Especially for people with older hardware.

So does Aitum Multistream v1.0.8 require OBS v31 and above?

It would be nice if this was stated somewhere. I searched around but found no info about such a requirement. I expected OBS v30 and above to work.

I wouldn't know; I'm not a dev. The Aitum people would know best on what the requisite version of OBS Studio would be. I was looking at things last night myself, and it only says that "support for OBS 31" was added at Aitum Multistream 1.0.4.
